I think this might be my favourite sugar free bake so far and oh how simple it is. I was going to try out some chocolate toppings to drizzle over them but once I tasted them I realised they just didn’t need anything else!
225g butter
125ml maple syrup
250g plain flour
1/4 tsp salt
Warm the butter until it’s soft. Whisk with an electric whisk then add the maple syrup and whisk again.
Sieve in the flour and salt a little at a time and mix in
Put some baking paper on a baking tray and use a teaspoon to portion out the mixture. Make sure you leave plenty of room between each blob so it can spread without getting stuck to the next one.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10mins. Leave to cool on the tray for 5mins before moving to a wire rack for another 10-20mins.
