These super simple treats are great for anyone trying to avoid dairy, egg, wheat, gluten, sugar, soya, and pretty much every other allergen (except nuts of course!!)
I don’t usually like my kids having biscuits but with these ones I’m pretty happy for my toddler to go back for a second helping if she wants! If you want to make these baby friendly simply use smooth peanut butter rather than crunchy!
275g crunchy peanut butter (if you’re going for guilt free make sure it’s a whole nut butter- check the ingredient list on the jar!)
100ml maple syrup
1tsp salt or less if you prefer.
Put the 3 ingredients into a mixing bowl
Use an electric whisk to combine and work the mixture until it’s gone from being quite wet to quite firm.
Spoon the mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. You should get around 12 biscuits out of the mixture.
Use a fork to gently squash the balls of mixture into a more biscuit like shape
Pop into a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes
Leave to cool on the tray (putting the tray onto a wire rack speeds up the cooking process)
